Lexington Medical Center Hurricane Matthew Update

West Columbia, S.C. – While South Carolina prepares for the possibility of Hurricane Matthew impacting our state later this week, Lexington Medical Center is carefully monitoring the situation and providing updates as necessary for our employees, patients and community.

All Lexington Medical Center facilities including the hospital in West Columbia, community medical centers and physician practices will be open and operate as usual on Wednesday, October 5, 2016. All scheduled procedures, surgeries and patient appointments will take place. Lexington Medical Center employees will be at work as scheduled.

Lexington Medical Center is staying in constant contact with local and state authorities as well as the South Carolina Hospital Association during this time. The hospital will provide updates as necessary through media advisories, our hospital website and social media.
