Courtney Ingle selected as Batesburg-Leesville Middle School and Twin City Rotary Club’s September T


Batesburg-Leesville, SC - Courtney Ingle joined the B-L Middle School faculty in the 2015-16 school year as a 6th grade ELA and Social Studies teacher and coaches varsity volleyball She has led her volleyball team to an impressive 13-4 Overall finish and 8-2 Region finish, is seated 2nd in the Region, and hosting their very first home playoff game. Not only does Courtney push and challenge her athletes and students, but she also has a quiet determination to help her students and athletes be successful on and off the court while still supporting them in other endeavors.

Mrs. Ingle attended Coker College on an athletic and academic scholarship and played volleyball there for three years. She then transferred to the University of South Carolina where she earned her Bachelor's degree in English: Language and Literature and earned her Masters in Elementary Education. She and her husband Rob have two daughters, Gracen (4) and Addison (2) and currently reside in Lexington.

Courtney’s greatest gift is knowing that not only is she shaping the future leaders of America, but she is instilling a sense of value and leadership in her students and athletes that will help them be successful for the rest of their lives.

This award is sponsored by the Twin City Rotary Club. Each month a selected teacher will be awarded a gift certificate from a local business. Rotary is for improving our community through service. If you would like to join in making things happen in our community come join us for a meeting. Twin City Rotary meets each Wednesday morning at 7:15 for breakfast at First Citizen’s Bank, 129 N. Pine Street in the Batesburg District.

On global level, Rotary International sponsors the eradication of polio worldwide, Alzheimer’s Disease research, worldwide literacy, disaster relief (Haiti, etc.), clean water initiatives and programs for developing countries.
