Lexington 2 Board Members Sworn-In

Lexington, SC - The Lexington School District 2 Board reelected Linda Alford-Wooten to a second, one-year term as Board Chairwoman, Tuesday. Bill Bingham was reelected as vice chairman. Cay Kessler was reelected Board Secretary. All votes were unanimous.

Board members elected Nov. 9, were also sworn in.

Also sworn in was new Board Member Kevin Key, with his wife Edie, with father Richard, and mother Beverly, with son Colby and his girlfriend Alana Sturkie.

Former Board Member Glen Conwell's term ended. He was first elected to the Lexington 2 Board in 2004. Wooten said he will always be part of the Lexington 2 family and it is hard to say good-bye to a family member.
