Gunter crowned 2016 Miss BLES Harvest


Batesburg-Leesville, SC - Batesburg-Leesville Elementary School PTO hosted the 2016 Miss BLES Harvest in the school’s cafeteria on November 7. Fourteen young ladies competed for grade level and overall queen in the areas of theme wear and evening wear. Mr. Lancer Shull served as Master of Ceremonies for the event. Winners are as follow:

2016 Miss BLES Harvest – Isabella Gunter, daughter of Tracy and Gariane Gunter Third grade queen – Cameron Asbill, daughter of Adam and Roni Asbill Third grade runner up – Payton Hendley, daughter of Sarah Fulmer Fourth grade queen – Sawyer Buzhardt, daughter of Ashley and Danielle Drake-Buzhardt Fourth grade runner up – Chandler Etheredge, daughter of Willie and Cindy Etheredge Fifth grade queen – Emma Rodgers, daughter of Jason and Rebecca Rodgers Fifth grade runner up – Reagan Minick, daughter of Daryl and April Minick

The B-L Elementary PTO would like to thank all of the contestants for their participation and they look forward to hosting this event again next year.

Mrs. Julie Ruff, Ashley Bouknight and Barbara Williams, officers of the PTO, were in charge of the event.
