SPRINGDALE PD ARRESTS TWO AFTER INVESTIGATING SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY


Springdale, SC - On December 22nd officers began to investigate after observing suspicious activity at 2200 Airport Blvd (Traveler's Inn). The investigation led to the arrest of two people and the discovery of illegal narcotics.

During the investigation Bruce Wayne, the department's police K9, alerted to the presence of illegal narcotics inside of a vehicle belonging to the two people. Officers obtained a search warrant for the parked car and recovered methamphetamine, Marijuana, scheduled pills, and drug paraphernalia during the search of the vehicle.

The man and woman were found to have warrants. The 34 year old man had two warrants from Lexington County Sheriff's Department and the 36 year old woman had a bench warrant from Springdale. Additional charges were made for Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana 2nd, Possession of Schedule II Narcotics and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Both were booked into the Lexington County Detention Center.

All subjects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
