District One hopes to educate parents on bullying policy at Gilbert meeting


Gilbert, SC – Lexington School District One has announced that they will provide parents an opportunity to learn more about their policies on bullying at a meeting next week.

In a statement released by the district’s Chief Communication Officer Mary Beth Hill, the district said, “In response to recent questions from some members of the Gilbert community, a team of staff from Lexington County School District One will hold a meeting for interested members of the Gilbert community.

The meeting will include a one-hour-long program about bullying and bullying prevention and will take place on Monday, January 30, 2017, at 6 p.m. at Gilbert High School in the Leadership Development Room. Enter through the student parking lot on Two Notch Road.

If a member of the Gilbert Community has a question that they would like to see addressed during the program, they should email that question by Friday, January 27, to communications@lexington1.net. Please include your home address and telephone number in your email.
