Nine WKHS students participate in National Signing Day


LEXINGTON, S.C. — White Knoll High hosted a busy National Signing Day on Wednesday, February 1, 2017.

Nine student-athletes signed their national letters of intent to continue their careers on the field and in the classroom.

Wednesday’s signees included football players Joseph Monroe Beckett (Wofford College), Anferena Shaheem Haltiwanger (S.C. State), Samuel Allen Hayes (Wingate University) and Justin Keyvon Riley (Limestone College). Although not in attendance on Wednesday, Brandon John Serio has signed on to play football at the University of Pikeville.

Girls who plan to play collegiate soccer include Harley Dellinger King (USC Aiken), Rebecca Brianne Marshall (The Citadel) and Kaylee Maddisun Stoll (Erskine College). Signing letters of intent for men’s soccer, Isaiah David Daley is headed to Lander University, while teammate Victor Olawale Chukwudi Oladipo will play for College of Charleston.
