Lexington to host 8th Annual Oyster Roast & St. Patrick’s Day Party
LEXINGTON, SC – On March 16 at 6 p.m., The Greater Lexington Chamber and Visitors Center will host its 8th Annual Oyster Roast & St. Patrick’s Day Party at the Icehouse Amphitheater in downtown Lexington.
This annual event at the Town of Lexington’s 900-seat venue will feature live music from Tokyo Joe, cuisine from restaurants like Travinia’s Italian Kitchen and Tin Lizzy’s Cantina, beer, wine, Topper’s Rhum and oysters.
With nearly 1,200 in attendance at the first Lexington Craft Beerfest, President/CEO Otis Rawl is excited to host one of the Chamber’s most successful events in the heart of Lexington. “There’s an energy building in our community,” said Rawl. “With new doors opening for business and visitors becoming residents, events like our oyster roast and others in Lexington only continue to bring life to a prospering area.”
Tickets are $50 in advance and $60 the day of the event and include entry into the festival as well as all the food, drinks and oysters available. Tickets can be purchased by visiting www.lexingtonsc.org, calling (803)359-6113 or at the Chamber at 311 W. Main St. in Lexington.
