Pine Ridge Middle School goes to Academic Challenge Finals

Pine Ridge, SC - The Pine Ridge Middle School Academic Challenge team competed in the state finals in Camden on Thursday (March 16) after qualifying by winning the regional competition.

Pine Ridge competed against Lakeview Middle School in the semi-final match and won by a score of 26 to 24.

The team then advanced to the finals versus AR Rucker Middle School. PRMS fell to defeat and ended the season in second place in the Middle School Division II bracket.

The Pine Ridge Middle School Teacher Coaches Gotterbarm and Locklair are extremely proud of their team, not only in their excellent performance but also in their outstanding representation of sportsmanship.

Team members Darion Grant, Gavin Lombardi, Josh Koon, Jordan Shetrone, Tobias Holloway, Josh Parga, Kaylin Liscusky, Sydney Coleman, Victoria Dunbar, and Garrett Priester.
