Detectives Seek Identity of Robbery Subject

Lexington, S.C. (March 23, 2017) – The Lexington Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the individual involved in a recent robbery, shoplifting, and assault that occurred at Kohls in Lexington, South Carolina.

At approximately 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 14, 2017, an unknown white female entered Kohls, which is located at 5440 Sunset Blvd., and while in the store placed multiple items of clothing into a bag that she had brought with her. The female then walked out of the business and into the parking lot without paying for the items taken. When approached by a Kohls employee who asked her to return inside the store, the female assaulted the employee by punching her in the face. The female subject then grabbed the Kohls employee’s purse and got into a silver in color sedan and fled from the scene.

The subject is described as a slender while female with blond hair who was dressed in a white striped shirt, black leggings, and a dark blue jean jacket.
