SLED makes designation in Monday's deadly fire near Oak Grove

Oak Grove, SC - The S.C. Law Enforcement Division’s investigation into the cause and origin of Tuesday morning’s fatal house fire in the Oak Grove area of Lexington County has been completed.

The cause of the fire is being listed as Undetermined. There is no evidence or suspicion of criminal activity associated with the fire.

The classification Undetermined includes fires for which no source, point of origin or activity can be found.
