County of Lexington Community Development Encourages Flood-Affected Residents to Apply for Disaster

Lexington, SC - The County of Lexington Department of Community Development is encouraging residents within the County who still have unmet needs and home damage from the October 2015 Flood to apply for federal disaster funds that have been made available to the County.

To date, the County has received 78 applicants who desire to participate in the County’s home buyout program and home rehabilitation programs.

Applicants are encouraged to begin the application process before the April 28, 2017 deadline.
