B-L Primary Spring Blokify Challenge participants announced

Batesburg-Leesville, SC - Batesburg-Leesville Primary School Media Specialist, Amy Bedenbaugh, recently announced the names of the Spring Blokify Challenge winners. Blokify is a 3D modeling software that enables children to crate toys they can play with virtually or physically via 3D printing.Students in K5 through second grade had the opportunity to design a spring symbol using a 13 x 13 grid on paper using crayon. The students then converted their design to Blokify using blocks in a single color. Mrs. Bedenbaugh then took the students’ designs and printed them on a 3D printer.First place winners in each grade were: K5 – Ashton JumperFirst grade – Adam ZayasSecond grade – Levi BryantFirst place winners in each grade received a prize for their efforts.Other winners included:K5 – Arianna Duckett, second place and Maliyah Abney, third placeFirst grade – Alexia Adams, second place and Riley Whittle, third placeSecond grade – Keira Frye, second place and Ernesto Rodriguez-Olvera, third placeOther students participating in the event included: Adriunah Cromer, MyKenzie Harris, Sincere Coleman, Erika Ward, Memphis Ard, Levi Pridgen, Jade McGee, Julian Burton, Jude Dotson, Patience Glover, DaZaria Wright, Kyle Frye, Tiara Gary, Brennan Scott, Gabby Hinson, Chance Bryant, Kentravius Green, Masiiah Mclendon, Damani Guest, Dylan Davis, Addison Smith, William Edwards, Hannah Goff, Jacob Discua, Trent Skinner, DeArie Kinard, Jayden Rowe, Sasha Filyaw, Kenyatta Jones and Omar Ridriguez-Nunez
