Midlands Fatherhood Program Offers Resources and Support for Local Fathers Father
Lexington, SC, – The Midlands Fatherhood Coalition (MFC) of Lexington is currently seeking local fathers to participate in father-focused programs and weekly peer group sessions that provide assistance, education and support to help men be responsible fathers for their children. These sessions focus on parenting and coparenting, building healthy relationships, job readiness, economic stability and personal development.
All services are provided free of charge. MFC is the only non-profit in the Midlands with over eighteen years of experience delivering services and support to help fathers overcome the barriers to being a responsible, involved father.
“Our mission is to engage fathers in the positive support of their children and to enhance community support for fatherhood throughout the Midlands. Our purpose is to strengthen families and reduce poverty through father engagement and involvement,” said Charles Brown, assistant director of Midlands Fatherhood Coalition.
