Lexington Bank of America robbery suspect arrested in NC
Lexington, SC (June 7, 2017) – J’Neil Jacoby Jacobs of Columbia, South Carolina was arrested without incident this morning at a Fayettville, North Carolina hotel by the U.S. Marshals Service and the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department Warrant Division.
The arrest warrant stemmed from a bank robbery incident that occurred at approximately 10:50 a.m. on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at the Bank of America located at 215 West Main Street in Lexington, South Carolina.
During the incident J’Neil Jacobs entered the Bank of America dressed in a disguise of a long black dress with a multi-color head cover and wore dark sunglasses. He presented a note to the teller demanding money and also threatened violence if she did not comply. J’Neil Jacobs was given an undisclosed amount of currency and he fled from the Bank of America building into the nearby woods.
J’Neil Jacobs is scheduled to have a bond hearing and extradition hearing tomorrow in Cumberland County, North Carolina.
