Summer Feeding Program Now Being Held at B-L Elementary

Batesburg-Leesville, SC - Lexington County School District 3's Summer Feeding Program began on Monday June 5th and will run through Thursday, July 27. All meals are served in the Batesburg-Leesville Elementary School cafeteria, located at 403 South Lee Street. Breakfast will be served from 8 a.m. until 9 a.m. and lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday. The Summer Feeding program will NOT be held on Monday, July 3 or Tuesday, July 4. All breakfasts and lunches are free to children ages 3 to 18 or 21 if child has a disability. All meals must be eaten in the B-L Elementary School cafeteria.
Participating children do NOT have to live in the Lexington 3 attendance area or go to school in Lexington 3 to participate in the program.
Organizations may bring their group (ages 3 to 18) to participate in the breakfast and/or lunch program.
Any non-profit organization that will be open for 1 week or longer during the Summer Feeding program and would like to have breakfast and/or lunch available to pick up for their site, should contact Deidre Yonce or Donna Leaphart, Lexington 3 Food Service Department, at 532-8006.
