Lexington 3 Honors its 2016-17 Retirees
Batesburg-Leesville, SC - With over 325 years of combined service to public education, Lexington County School District 3’s 2016-17 retirees will be truly missed by their schools, district and students. The ten retirees include:
Kay C. Alford – special education teacher at Lifelong Learning Center with 38 years of service to public education, with 30 years in Lexington 3.
Gail Mabus Davidson – first grade teacher at B-L Primary School with 38 years of service to Lexington 3.
Beth B. Berry – physical education teacher at B-L Elementary with 33 years of service in public education, with 22 in Lexington 3.
Larry Curry – maintenance supervisor at B-L Elementary with 29 years of service to Lexington 3.
Robin Kneece – ESL teacher at B-L Elementary with 31 years of service to public education and 27 years in Lexington 3.
Terry C. Samuels – music teacher at B-L Elementary with 35 years of service to Lexington 3.
Bruce Caughman – math and science teacher at B-L Middle with 17 years of service to public education and 10 years of service in to Lexington 3.
Terri Dedrick – math teacher at B-L Middle with 35 years of service to public education and 34 years in Lexington 3.
Melanie White – special education teacher at B-L High with 37 years of service to public education and 23 years of service in Lexington3.
Judy Turner Fox – Director of Public Information with 32 years of service to Lexington 3.
Each retiree will receive a gift of their choice from the district for their service and heartfelt thanks for their dedication to their students and to the district.
