Leola’s This & That opens in Red Bank
Red Bank, SC (Paul Kirby) – Leola’s This & That, a store specializing in antiques and high-end consignment items, opened last week on Wilson Street in the heart of old Red Bank. It is just east (the Columbia side) of South Lake Drive between Nazareth Road and Red Bank United Methodist on what some still call the mill-hill area.
Leola's, a dream and project spearheaded by longtime area resident and Senate District 26’s Senator at the SC Statehouse, Katrina Shealy, is not your normal knick-knack store. They only accept top of the line items that are both beautiful, and a great value. Leola’s promises to be the area’s top spot to buy and consign goods from furniture to jewelry and even farm equipment, implements, and old tools that will add to your home, yard, or garden’s down-home look and feel!
The Shealys have owned the home that now houses Leola’s for some time, but until late last year, they had used it as a residential rental property. When the last tenant vacated the home, the Shealys felt the influx of new homes, residents, and businesses, both large and small, made the time just right for such a store.
Now, you can enjoy shopping at Leola’s yourself. Browse through all the treasures to see if you can locate that one perfect thing you’ve been hoping you’d find to fill that corner or niche at your place. Leola’s is open on Thursdays, Friday from 10am - 6pm, Saturdays from 9am - 5pm and Sundays through Wednesday by appointment only.
