IRMO – Lexington-Richland School District Five will once again offer its online registration system for the 2017-2018 school year. Beginning July 1, Registration Gateway will allow parents to conveniently register and update information for their children.
“Our goal is to make the annual re-registration process easier and parent friendly,” said Connie Graham, PowerSchool Administrator at District Five. “Registration Gateway allows parents to complete most of the annual paperwork online as well as allow them to verify and update the information we have in our Student Information System.”
In its first year, District Five had about 85 percent of parents register their child online. This year, District Five is pleased to add an “Express” option to Registration Gateway. This will allow parents to update information as it may change during the school year. “Express” is set to be online around late September or early October.
Each school year, all returning students to District Five must re-register to attend their school. This is done to ensure all contact information and other pertinent information is up-to-date. Parents will be asked to log into Registration Gateway to verify/update their student(s) information for the upcoming school year. They will be able to verify and update contacts, phone numbers, medical conditions, review annual school and technology agreements, and their student’s privacy selection. Parents will also be able to complete Media Consent forms, District Acceptable Use Agreements, Health Card Information and other important information.
