The County of Lexington Administrative offices will be closed for the observance of Independence Day on Tuesday, July 4, 2017.

Curbside Solid Waste Collection

Franchise Residential Solid Waste Curbside Collection in the unincorporated areas of Lexington County will operate on a partial adjusted schedule for the week beginning Monday, July 3rd. No collection will be made on Tuesday, July 4th due to the holiday. Tuesday’s Collection will be made on Wednesday, July 5th, Wednesday’s Collection on Thursday, July 6th and Friday’s Collection will be made on Saturday, July 7th.

Collection and Recycling Centers

The eleven Lexington County Residential Collection and Recycling Centers will be closed on Tuesday, July 4th and will open as usual on Wednesday, July 5th. Collection and Recycling Centers are normally closed on Tuesday and Thursday each week.

Lexington County Landfill

The Lexington County Solid Waste Management Landfill, located at 498 Landfill Lane, off Highway 302 in the Edmund community, will be closed on Tuesday, July 4th and open as usual on Wednesday, July 5th.
