Irmo PD needs public’s help identifying suspects in shooting

Irmo, SC (Paul Kirby) – The Irmo Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating suspects that could have been involved in a shooting that occurred this morning on Broad River Road.

According to Captain Dennis of the Irmo PD, at approximately 3:00 a.m. the suspects were at a gas station and convenience store located at 7710 Broad River Road. Investigators believe that there was some type of altercation in the parking lot of the business when shots were fired. The victim of that shooting suffered a gunshot wound to the upper body and was taken to Richland Memorial Hospital to be treated for the injuries.

Police have now released the photographs of three (3) suspects that they believe were involved in the shooting. Investigators are looking to question all three about the incident.

The suspects were last seen in the vehicle shown in surveillance videos. Police believe it is a 2004-2008 Ford Explorer (blue) and that the suspects fled the scene heading toward Columbia.

If anyone has information about these individuals, they are asked to contact investigators with the Irmo Police Department or they can submit a tip to Crimestoppers.
