According to county councilmembers, Electro-Spec, Inc. is planning to locate its new production operation in Lexington County. Capital investment is usually thought of as buildings, facility modifications, specialty equipment, etc. The Coordinating Council for Economic Development approved a $100,000 Closing Fund grant to Lexington County to assist with the costs of building modifications. These types of sources are regularly sought out to assist in attracting industry to our county.
