Lexington PD names "Officer of the Quarter"

Lexington, SC (Paul Kirby) The Lexington Police Department presented two Officer of the Quarter awards recently. The awards, given to officers that go above and beyond the call of duty not just in police work, but also in service to the community, are made of glass and symbolize the department, and community’s, gratitude for their work.

This quarter, Major Matt Davis presented the awards to Detective Corporal Mike Lawler and PFC. Kimberly Honeycutt during a recent CompStat meeting. According to Davis, together the pair have done an exceptional job with a project that was tasked to them to complete along with their other assigned responsibilities and duties.
