Glenn Keller Stabler captured in the south region of the county
Gaston, SC (Paul Kirby) Deputies from the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department took Glenn Keller Stabler into custody Wednesday afternoon in the southern portion of Lexington County. Stabler, who was wanted on existing warrants on burglary charges, had alluded capture last Friday in the Sandy Run area near Sardis Church. During that search, deputies had set up a perimeter and used K-9’s to try and locate him. They eventually called the search off in mid-afternoon.
According to Captain Adam Myrick, spokesman for the department, deputies spotted Stabler yesterday driving in a vehicle. He once again got out of the vehicle and fled. Myrick said that he was on the run for just a short while before he was captured by law enforcement officers. He has been booked on the original burglary warrants, and also faces charges for his antics in eluding capture.
