South Congaree has hired a new clerk of court
South Congaree, SC (Paul Kirby) – Dina Lusk has taken the position of clerk of court for the town of South Congaree. She began working earlier this month.
Lusk is a native of the Pine Ridge area and is a graduate of Columbia College where she earned a bachelor’s degree in music. Prior to coming to work for the town, she taught music in Richland County School District Two. She is married to Evan.
As the clerk of court, she is responsible for keeping the records of the court. She also schedules the docket, collects fines and fees, and deals with the public daily regarding traffic tickets and other citations.
Lusk says that she enjoys her new job. “It’s something new and interesting daily,” she said. “I’ve enjoyed meeting and getting to know the members of the police department, the people involved with the town’s government, and even more of the citizens; more than before I knew before I came to work here.”
Lusk works at the town hall daily at 119 West Berry Road in South Congaree. She can be reached by phone at (803) 755-2760 or by e-mail at email@example.com.
