Lexington County jury duty has been canceled for Monday

Lexington, SC (Paul Kirby) - Lexington County Clerk of Court Lisa Comer has announced that all Lexington County jury duty has been canceled for Monday. Jurors are instructed to report on Tuesday due to potential inclement weather associated with Hurricane Irma.
Lisa Comer, Lexington County’s Clerk of Court, released the following statement Sunday evening: All jurors that are scheduled to report for jury duty at the Marc H. Westbrook Judicial Center on Monday, Sept. 11, 2017, are asked to report on Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2017, as a result of the County of Lexington’s Administrative and Judicial offices being closed due to Hurricane Irma. Jurors are asked to report to the judicial center, located at 205 E. Main Street, Lexington, SC, on Tuesday at 9 a.m. Jurors are also asked to call (803) 785-8420, or (803) 785-2296, after 6:30 p.m. Monday, for further delay information, or cancellation, to jury service.
