Joe Dever announces he is running for Chapin Town Council

Chapin, SC - Joe Dever, a resident of Turkey Pointe, has announced his candidacy for Chapin Town Council in the upcoming November 7th election.

In an area that continues to experience significant growth due to its excellent schools and good quality of life, Joe Dever wants to ensure that these assets are protected in order to achieve a more prosperous future. To accomplish this, he is interested in combining his passion for town planning and his professional experience as a budget analyst.

Joe maintains an active membership with the American Planning Association, an organization dedicated to managing growth and including the community in crafting a vision for its future. Professionally, Joe has worked as a budget analyst on large capital infrastructure projects for nearly a decade, developing necessary skills in evaluating cost and schedule projections. Using these skills, he hopes to responsibly manage the town budget as Chapin continues to develop.

In navigating the development of the area, Joe wants to maintain effective and strong working relationships with town officials, while strengthening the town's relationship with the county. Through improved ties, Joe believes that an effective, integrated development pattern for the area can address current areas of concern.

To share your vision of Chapin's future, please contact Joe Dever by phone at 803-335-7618 or via email at VisionforChapin@gmail.com.
