Springdale Public Works Director message

Hello Springdale Residents. As you know, the Mayor sends out emails from time to time to let you know the things going on throughout the Town. I will also do this to inform you of Sanitation news and updates. The biggest news I am going to share with you all at this time is a schedule change for sanitation pick up starting December 4th, 2017. Beginning Monday, December 4th we will change the week’s collection to the following,

This change will allow us to focus more on Landscaping throughout town. Right now we have one day for landscaping. Adding a second day will help us maintain our newly renovated medians and sidewalks as well as our park and other right of ways ( Wattling road, Airport Blvd., Platt Springs rd.) We want To maintain a high standard and professional look for our residents. Having great looking public grounds and right of ways allows us to do so. Springdale is one of the best communities in Lexington County and we should look like it. We will be placing “Post Cards” with the reminder of schedule change in the coming weeks as well as having it on all of our Social Media networks and our Town website. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me at Town Hall at 803-794-0408. I look forward to sending out these email messages from time to time. And as always, I appreciate the Town for allowing me to serve as Public Works Director.
