Reeder elected to Gilbert Town Council
Gilbert, SC (Paul Kirby) John D. Reeder, III was elected to serve on the Gilbert Town Council during a special election that was held yesterday. Reeder won with 31 votes. This gave him a 67.39% margin. The only other candidate running was Louise Taylor. She garnered 15 votes of the 46 total that were cast in that election.
Less than 4.5% of the registered voters eligible to vote yesterday in the two special elections in Gilbert and Lexington School District Four actually cast their votes. Of the nearly 10,000 voters registered in the two areas, only 435 voted.
