Cayce, SC - A formal dedication and open house are planned at Lexington Two’s newest elementary school.

The event, which includes a reception and tours, is set for 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26 at Cayce Elementary, 515 Bulldog Blvd.

Sen. Nikki Setzler and Cayce Mayor Elise Partin will speak at the event, which is free and open to the public.

Cayce Elementary, which opened in August, is part of a $225 million package of school improvements approved by Lexington Two voters in 2014. Planning for the final phase is under way on the project, which includes upgrades to all of the district’s schools serving more than 8,900 students in Cayce, Pine Ridge, South Congaree, Springdale and West Columbia.
