Cayce PD investigating car break-ins, attempted thefts in Hunters Mill

Three Fountains, SC (Paul Kirby) The Cayce Department of Public Safety is in the early stages of an investigation into a possible attempted car theft and break-ins in the Hunter’s Mill area of the city. They received a call about a car alarm going off In the 100 block of Hunter’s Mill Drive about 4:30 a.m. Thrusday. The caller advised that someone had just broken a rear window out of their car and fled on foot when the alarm began to sound.

Officers immediately rushed to the area and began looking for suspects. They did find another car in the area that they believed was ransacked. As of this point, they are in the early stages of their investigation, but have not taken anyone into custody.
