Batesburg-Leesville Rotary Club begins their Christmas Toys-For-Tots campaign

Batesburg-Leesville, SC – The Batesburg-Leesville Rotary Club assigned its members their collection boxes for this year’s Toys-For-Tots program. Toy-For-Tots is a program of the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve. The purpose of the program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community.

Members of the community can simply take their toys to the local collection points and drop them in the marked, cardboard collection boxes. At some point, members of the Rotary Club will collect those toys and transfer them to the Marine Corp Reserves. They will do the distribution through their well-established network.

Currently, the collection bins are being placed at the following locations in and around Batesburg-Leesville:

The Lexington County School District Three’s Administrative Offices

338 West Columbia Ave.

The Batesburg-Leesville Town Hall
