Batesburg-Leesville, SC - Lexington County School District Three’s Lifelong Learning Center held a Certified Nursing Assistant graduation ceremony on Tuesday, November 7th.
With a CNA certificate, graduates can qualify for employment in many different areas including skilled living facilities, assisted living facilities, and mental health clinics. Many graduates of the Lifelong Learning Center also work in these arenas while they are in college pursuing their LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse), RN (Registered Nurse), or PA (Physician Assistant) status. Others utilize their knowledge at home while working with aging or homebound family members.
The next daytime CNA class at the Lifelong Learning Center is scheduled to begin on January 10th. Students will meet on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9 am until 2:30 pm. The class will last approximately 8 to 10 weeks. The next evening CNA class is scheduled to start on January 9th. Classes will meet every Tuesday and Thursday from 6 to 9 pm. The evening course lasts approximately 18 to 20 weeks.
