Local merchants showcase festive goods at Crooked Creek Park’s Holiday Market
Over 70 Vendors on hand to peddle wares including books, LulaRoe apparel.
Chapin, SC (James Bowers) - Crooked Creek Park rang in the season Saturday, hosting its annual Holiday Market in the gymnasium. 70 vendors were on hand, selling a myriad of goods from artisan soaps to LuLaRoe Apparel.
Crowds were enthusiastic as they milled through the various booths and sampled some of the goods on hand. Crooked Creek Park has held the festival since it opened in 1996 and the Holiday Market is one of several seasonal activities that the Irmo-Chapin Recreation Commission Property holds throughout the year. Other CCP activities include Halloween at the Park and a movie night to commemorate the start of the new school year.
The Holiday Market is not the last seasonal event for ICRC this year. Community members can look forward to fun including the Holiday Lights on the River (November 22-December 31) and Sleigh Bell Stroll (November 20) at Saluda Shoals Park, and the Santa’s Market Holiday Craft Show at Seven Oaks Park on December 2. These events will provide some festive cheer for the whole family this holiday season.
