Lexington, SC (Paul Kirby) – Officers from the Lexington Police Department are searching for two teens they believe may have thrown some heavy objects off the overpass at South Lake Drive and I-20 on Sunday afternoon. Investigators say that the two suspects were captured on a photo and are hoping someone will recognize the pair.

When the incident was reported, officers quickly responded, but were unable to locate the two suspects. Fortunately, no one was reported injured in the incident.

Officers have not said what the two were throwing from the bridge, but did describe the items as, “large objects.” The officer says that the two were last seen riding on bicycles toward the town of Lexington from the overpass.

If you can help to identify the pair, please call (803) 359-6260 and ask for Detective Lee.
