Wilson statement on U.N. Vote: Haley is exactly right

Washington, DC – Congressman Joe Wilson today issued the following statement after the United Nations vote condemning the United States decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capitol:

“What happened today at the United Nations was as disgraceful as it was disrespectful. We have every right to locate our embassy in Jerusalem, and I support the commitment of President Donald Trump to move forward with these plans. I am also grateful for Ambassador Nikki Haley’s leadership because she is exactly right: we won’t forget today’s vote the next time the U.N. looks to us to foot the bill for much of the organization’s costs.”
