Firenza Pizza plans opening in February at Columbiana Grande Shopping Center, heading for Lexington
New brand brings extensive menu, family friendly atmosphere to Bower Parkway
Columbia, SC (James Bowers) - Persona Pizzeria introduced many pizza eaters in the Harbison area to the unique taste of a wood-fired pie. For the last few months, however, that oven has gone cold as franchisee Simply Fresh Concepts prepares to make an exciting change. In February, the Bower Parkway Persona will officially become Firenza Pizza.
According to its owner, Firenza will offer the same award-winning specialty pizzas that Persona had been churning out since its arrival on the Harbison dining scene in the spring of 2017. Their customization options, including the freshest cheeses, sauces, doughs, and toppings will remain in place, as well as the wood-fire grill, which gives each pie an incredible flavor. The pizza will be paired with an extensive menu at Firenza. That includes a number of specialty salads and chicken wings with an assortment of delicious sauces. The store also plans to add more items to that menu at a later time.
Firenza’s General Manager Desmond says that the new location will feature a family friendly atmosphere. “The brand will give us more opportunities as far as menu items, while creating a good environment for our customers,” Desmond said. The pricing will also remain largely the same, but the Bower Parkway store will offer something special, sort of a pizza "Happy Hour". Customers can get a one-topping pie for $4.99 from 3pm-5pm every day. Also, college students who can show an ID can get this special at any time.
The Columbiana Grande Firenza is set to open in February, but the exact date will be announced later. In addition to the Columbia Grande outlet, Firenza plans to open another store in Lexington County which they say will be located in the Lowe’s Foods Shopping Center on Sunset Boulevard.
