Red Bank, SC (Paul Kirby) – RADIUS White Knoll, a growing dynamic church that has been meeting at Carolina Springs Elementary School, is being given a building by another congregation. They will be moving into the Chapel of Redemption’s building on Platt Springs Rd. near the Village Store and Cross Road. The first step of the move will be the Wednesday night kids and student programs that meet in the gymnasium of the Chapel of Redemption property. Those programs will continue this week as the building begins to undergo renovations. An official move-in date for RADIUS White Knoll has not been determined at the time of this article.

RADIUS leaders say that the leadership and congregation of The Chapel of Redemption approached them in late 2017 and asked if they would be interested in having their buildings and property and moving RADIUS White Knoll to that location. The gift included 3 buildings and 4.5 acres!

The Chapel of Redemption has been shining bright in the White Knoll community for a number of decades. Their pastor and elders had a vision for how God's church could change the White Knoll community for the sake of the Gospel and the growth of the Kingdom, much like the leadership at RADIUS. The Chapel of Redemption’s leadership believed that God told them that the best way to continue moving forward would be to transfer the facility over to RADIUS and join the congregations to become a part of what God is doing through RADIUS White Knoll.

Joe Pitts, one of the pastors at RADIUS White Knoll said recently in a letter to that congregation, “Thank God for the leadership at The Chapel of Redemption and their generosity to our church. We would ask that God would help us in honoring The Chapel of Redemption through this transition. We also ask God for new relationships with the people of The Chapel of Redemption.” The first Sunday that the two churches combined congregations was Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Carolina Springs Elementary. Pitts went on to say, “This is a huge milestone in our church and we couldn't be more excited about the favor that God is showing us and the potential for what He could do through this next step.
