Judge sets bond for accused infant abuser at $25,000

Lexington, SC (Paul Kirby) - A judge has set bond at $25,000 for Robert Ray this morning. The judge also ordered that Ray not have unsupervised visits with his children.

Ray was arrested yesterday and was charged with abuse of his infant daughter. This was after medical professionals said she had suffered extensive injuries that caused her to permanently lose function in the right half of her brain. She also had other injuries on other parts of her body.

It is not clear if Ray has the means to make the bond.
