PHMS student captures SC ‘faces and places’

Lexington, SC — An award-winning photographer from Pleasant Hill Middle School won the opportunity to display a piece of artwork in Washington, D.C.

Eighth-Grader Brayden R. Myers entered his photograph, “South Carolina Sunset,” in the South Carolina Faces and Places Photography Exhibition at the Columbia Museum of Art. Judges awarded his photograph first place.

The Columbia Museum of Art showcased Myers’ photograph before sending it to spend a year on display in Sen. Lindsey Graham’s office.
