Lexington Dry Cleaner on Sunset held up earlier this week

Lexington, SC (Paul Kirby) – The Lexington Dry Cleaners in the 5500 block of Sunset Blvd. was held up Monday by a man that the Lexington Police Department is now asking the public to help them locate. According to officers, Christopher Woods Edmonds is wanted for armed robbery.

On Monday afternoon, Edmonds entered one of the small locations of the cleaners near Wal-Mart and Dick Smith Nissan around 1:40 p.m. Monday in Lexington. He presented a handgun and demanded money from the clerks. He then fled the scene.

Edmonds is described as a white male weighing approximately 130 pounds and is 5’11. He was wearing a black T-shirt, black jeans and a black jacket.
