Smoking bandits strike again; this time cameras clearly catch facial image and car
Lexington, SC (Paul Kirby) Last week, we circulated a story from the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department regarding two men that stole a number of cartons of cigarettes from a store. They both entered the store, and one of them staged a slip and fall in the area of the beer cooler. The other the filled a trash bag with over $3,000 worth of cigarettes while the clerk was attending to the man that fell. They both eventually fled the scene.
Those cigarettes bandits have now struck again! The same men targeted the Circle K on Augusta Road on January 20th and stole cigarettes and lighters. Apparently, when you have $3,000 worth of cigarettes, you run through a great many lighters! In this robbery, one of them got caught on camera and the sheriff has better images of his face. Do you know him? The sheriff’s department ask that you call Crime Stoppers at 1-888-Crime-SC if you have any idea who he is or his partner in crime.
