Lexington County Democratic Party’s monthly meeting set for Thursday
Democratic District Two Congressional Candidate Carrigan will speak at event to be held at Lexington Lizard’s Thicket
Lexington, SC (James Bowers) - Congressional candidate Sean Carrigan will speak at the Lexington County Democratic Party’s monthly meeting which is set for Thursday, May 10 from 6-8 pm at the Lizard’s Thicket located at 4616 Augusta Road in Lexington. Carrigan is hoping to win the South Carolina Second Congressional District seat in the United States House of Representatives. The decorated military veteran and Chapin resident is facing off against numerous challengers including longstanding incumbent Joe Wilson, fellow Democrats Phil Black and Annabelle Robertson, and the American Party’s Sonny Narang.
The core tenants of Carrigan’s campaign and ideology can be summed up in an acronym dubbed S.M.A.R.T. Smart stands for Solidarity, Motivation, Accountability, Revolutionary, and TEAM. Carrigan will discuss these principles and his other goals for his congressional run at the Thursday evening meeting. Dinner will be available for those in attendance before and after the speaker.
