Village Store on Platt Springs Rd held up Sunday night
Red Bank, SC (Paul Kirby) – The Village Store in Red Bank, a part of the Pitt Stop chain, was held up Sunday night. This store is located between Old Orangeburg and Ramblin Roads.
According to Captain Adam Myrick, the spokesman for the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department, a man went into the store just before 10:00 p.m. and demanded money from the employee at the front counter. A witness told detectives the man left the store and got into a car waiting for him nearby. The car drove away down Highland Drive toward Cross and Old Orangeburg roads.
