Lexington County coroner says US Army General who lived in Lexington County died of natural causes

Lexington, SC (Paul Kirby) - Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has released the findings of the investigation into the death of U.S. Army Major General Jeffrey Bannister, who passed away at his Lexington County home on Sunday May 27, 2018. According to Coroner Fisher, Maj. Gen. Jeffrey Bannister, 57, died due to natural causes.

Fisher concluded her statement by saying that there were no suspicious circumstances or indications of foul play related to his death.
