Letter to the Editor: Republican Party will spread the word for all Republican candidates if they ju

Editor's Note: This letter is in response to a letter received from a supporter of the Billy Oswald for House campaign. If you read that letter to the editor that is posted just before this one it will help you to understand the need for this response.

Dear Editor,

The Lexington County Republican Party makes our members aware of campaign events as we are made aware of them. To date we have received no information from the Oswald campaign about any campaign event or announcements. We also allow equal time to all candidates at our monthly meetings and allow those to speak who are interested in speaking to our Executive Committee as requested.

Mr. Caskey's campaign notified us of his campaign event and asked that we pass it along to our members in the event they wanted to join. We do this for every Republican candidate that asks us to do so or members can be more informed of the candidates running as well as the ability to meet the candidates and ask them questions to address their concerns.

Best Regards,

Craig T. Caldwell
