Road closures planned in Lexington for resurfacing
Lexington, SC (June 16, 2018) – Chief Terrence Green would like to notify the Town of Lexington community that the re-surfacing of Main Street, which is related to the SC-6 One-Way Pair Project, will begin on Sunday, June 17, 2018 and will cause traffic detours around the work area each night through Tuesday, June 19, 2018.
Main Street will be re-surfaced between the downtown area of the 100 block of West Main Street to the 200 block of East Main Street.
The overnight re-surfacing of Main Street and traffic detours will begin each night at 9:00 p.m. and work will be stopped at 6:00 a.m. each morning. Traffic will resume as normal on Main Street throughout the day until work begins again each of the listed nights for additional re-surfacing work.
Multiple officers will be assisting with the Main Street road closure and signed detours around the work area will be operational throughout each night.
