Batesburg-Leesville, SC (Angelica Iglesias) - The Walmart in Batesburg-Leesville held a ribbon cutting ceremony Thursday, June 28 in honor of the start of their online grocery pickup.
The ribbon cutting was at 9:00 am and included a performance from the Batesburg-Leesville High School Panther Band. The Walmart invited the public to celebrate with them and offered food, coupons and prizes.
Orders for grocery pickup can be made online at www.grocery.walmart.com or through the Walmart app and are free to pickup. While ordering, you reserve a time to pick up. You simply drive up to the store at that designated time where the "Pickup" sign is on the side of the building and check in. An employee goes through your items with you to ensure you receive everything you ordered. Once you are satisfied and your order is finalized, employees help you load your car with the groceries.
