City of Cayce’s municipal election filing set

Cayce, SC – The City of Cayce’s municipal election will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2018. There will be three seats open for election — Mayor, Council Member District 2 and Council Member District 4. Filing opens on July 20 at noon and in accordance with State Law, closes at noon on July 30. Filing fees for Mayor is $100 and $50 for Council Member.

Citizens desiring to be candidates for one of the above listed offices must reside in the District and file a Statement of Candidacy at Lexington County Voter Registration and Elections, 605 West Main St. Lexington, SC and pay the appropriate fee for the office; Mayor of $100 or Councilmember of $50.00.
