Motorcycle wreck victim identified

Gaston, SC (Paul Kirby) - Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has identified the man who died Friday morning due to a motor vehicle collision that occurred in the 3700 block of Charleston Highway just before 6:00 a.m. According to Fisher, Wesley Grant Hutto, 26, of North, SC died on the scene as a result of his injuries.

According to the SCHP, Hutto was operating a motorcycle northbound when he collided with a southbound tractor trailer as it was making a left turn into a business. He died from multiple traumatic injuries. The driver of the tractor trailer was not injured.

The collision remains under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
